PURPOSE:

To manage the day-to-day operations of the Swift Glass Financial Department. This will include general ledger, financial statement generation, inventory valuation, and payroll related functions. Duties also include managing the office clerical staff, staffing needs, and training. Will also work with software advisor to come up with new and more efficient up-to-date programs and reports to assist all of the departments in keeping track of their operations. The Controller will be a member of the management team and report directly to the CEO and Stockholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the business ledger.
• Coordinate and help expedite the annual strategic plan session and budget preparation for each year.
• Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
• Track inventory.
• Oversee product costing and insure information is passed on to production and quoting personnel.
• Look for improved information systems that track and guide the manufacture of our products.
• Supervise the daily operation of the office, including hiring, training, and implementing incentives to enhance employee productivity and efficiency.
• Research Al and how Swift Glass could possibly benefit from its implementation.
